During the Process

  • The claim is reported to ACA by the agent or the insured.
  • Our Claims Center will assign a claim number and an adjuster to the claim.
  • The assigned adjuster will review loss information, collect photos, receipts and estimates if necessary.
  • The assigned adjuster contacts the insured or their representative to schedule an inspection.
  • Inspections are performed by an ACA Field Adjuster or Independent Adjuster.
  • Only an ACA Adjuster will review coverage for the reported damage in accordance with the policy terms and conditions.

Repair Cost Analysis

  • Review and evaluate all expenses incurred during the restoration period.
  • Generate documents and reports to help assist insured hired contractor in repairs.
  • Disregard any non related damage from the cover loss that will contribute to unnecessary expenses.
  • Confirmed like kind material were used to facilitate repairs.
